More than 250 passengers were evacuated from a train in the Sumy region after a Russian drone struck its locomotive. All passengers were transported to a location from which they were able to continue their journey.
Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, stated this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"Russian forces deliberately targeted the locomotive in the morning. One of the carriages was damaged. The train and locomotive crews promptly evacuated more than 250 passengers to a safe distance. Fortunately, there were no casualties. All passengers on the Sumy–Kyiv train attacked by the enemy on its way to Kyiv were promptly transported to a location from which they continued their journey," Hryhorov said.

He noted that the threat of further strikes remained in the area of the attack, and another hit occurred.
