Three people, including a child, have died following Russian attacks on the Kyiv region overnight, according to local authorities.
Timur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, said Russian forces had struck three sites in the Brovary district near the capital, killing three people and injuring three others.
"Falling debris has damaged a private residential house, outbuildings and cars. A fire also broke out on the premises of a non-residential building," he wrote in a post on Telegram.
At least four people were also injured in an attack on the city of Kyiv, per the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Firefighters have been battling flames in the city's Holosiivskyi and Obolon districts, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reported on social media, while sharing images showing blazes ravaging what appeared to be warehouses and garages.
