Finding good jollof rice in Lagos is difficult.
Finding good jollof rice for N2,800 is even more difficult.
So when I stumbled across a jollof rice combo from FK Foods and Restaurant that included rice, chicken and plantain for N2,800, I honestly thought there had to be a catch.
Anyone who has ordered food in Lagos long enough knows the feeling. Sometimes the portions are tiny. Sometimes the rice is dry, bland or drowning in oil. Other times, the pictures look far better than what eventually arrives at your doorstep.
My expectations were low. Then my order arrived.
