James Hardie Industries PLC (NYSE:JHX) on Thursday reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results and raised its FY27 sales guidance above estimates.
James Hardie Industries reported quarterly earnings of 36 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 32 cents per share.
The company reported quarterly sales of $1.475 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.395 billion.
James Hardie Industries raised its FY2027 sales guidance from $5.250 billion-$5.410 billion to $5.564 billion-$5.723 billion.
Aaron Erter, CEO of James Hardie, said, "In the first quarter, we delivered sales and adjusted EBITDA ahead of our original guidance.
