Breaking: 5 Abducted Gateway Poly Students, 2 Others Rescued, 5 Suspects Arrested, Abiodun Hails Army, DSS, Police, Others
Five students of Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade, in Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State, who were abducted by suspected kidnappers earlier this week, have been rescued.
Also rescued were two non-students, bringing the total number of victims rescued to seven.
The victims were rescued in the early hours of Friday in an intelligence-led operation around Alamala community, off Ayetoro Road Roundabout, in the state capital.
The rescue operation was carried out by security agencies, including the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Police and the Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
