Igbokwe and Okiro during the visit

Former Inspector-General of Police, Mike Okiro, has officially hosted the flag of the CityBoy Movement during a visit to the movement’s Abia State headquarters, where he commended its patron, Seyi Tinubu, for creating the platform.

Okiro, who was received by the State Director of the CityBoy Movement, Abia State Chapter, Lucky Igbokwe on Friday, praised Seyi Tinubu for the initiative, describing the creation of the CityBoy Movement as a significant step towards strengthening grassroots mobilisation and political participation.

The former IGP also expressed his support for President Bola Tinubu and called on members and supporters of the movement to remain committed to the President’s political agenda.

He said, “I urge members of this movement to work collectively and use their democratic rights to support President Tinubu’s bid for a second term in the 2027 general elections.”
