The Head of Research and Strategy at Kimpact Development Initiative, Oluwafemi Adebayo, has raised fresh concerns over the technological integrity of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), alleging that evidence from the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) own documents suggests the election device may still be operating on Android 6 or Android 7.
Android 6 and Android 7 operating systems were released in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
