Thanks to PWD Minister @p_sahibsingh who is obsessed with reel making at Minto Road bridge. Place which was already fixed in AAP Govt."The post appeared to reference severe waterlogging in the locality following heavy rain in the national capital.Bharadwaj also took a swipe at Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh, alleging that he was focused on making social media reels instead of addressing civic issues.Heavy rain continued to batter Delhi through the day, leading to waterlogging in several areas, disrupting daily life and affecting traffic movement across the city. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had earlier issued a red alert for Delhi, predicting moderate rain at many places and heavy rainfall at isolated locations, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. Some weather stations later recorded more than 110 mm of rainfall. The downpour caused severe waterlogging at several locations, resulting in traffic snarls on major roads. Long queues of vehicles were reported across the city, with many commuters spending more than two hours on their journeys.Several residents took to social media to complain about waterlogging, traffic congestion and inadequate traffic management. Many said the lack of timely diversions left commuters stranded during peak hours.Authorities said efforts were underway to remove fallen trees and restore normal traffic flow, while civic agencies continued monitoring vulnerable buildings and waterlogged areas as rain persisted in parts of the capital.(With Agency Inputs)
