The initiative, which offers eligible FNB cardholders discounted bread at Boxer stores, has attracted thousands of shoppers looking for practical ways to cut their grocery bills. Encouraged by the response, the two companies now plan to roll out more rewards and services aimed at helping customers save on everyday essentials.
The expansion comes as South African consumers continue to grapple with higher food prices and tighter household budgets, prompting businesses to focus on value driven products and services.
“The early response shows that customers value rewards that make a real difference to the cost of everyday essentials,” FNB said.
