The Hyderabad facility is part of Microsoft's $20.5 billion cloud and AI investment commitment to India

Microsoft $MSFT announced the general availability of its India South Central cloud region in Hyderabad on Thursday, giving the company four Azure regions in India — more than any other hyperscale cloud provider in the country, the company said.
The new region joins existing Microsoft cloud regions in Pune, Chennai, and Mumbai. It includes three availability zones built to meet India's regulatory and seismic requirements, and features air-cooled chillers that require no water for cooling, the company said.
