MOSCOW, August 7. /TASS/. Annual maintenance has been completed at Russia’s Far Eastern Vostochny spaceport, the Center for Operation of Space Ground Based Infrastructure (TseNKI, part of the Roscosmos state corporation) reported.
According to the Center, the Soyuz-2 launch complex has been prepared for the launch campaign, and maintenance was performed on more than 40 systems at the Angara launch complex.
"Specialists of the Vostochny Space Center, a branch of TsENKI, have completed scheduled annual maintenance work. The work was carried out simultaneously at the launching facilities and technical areas. <...> Soyuz-2 Launch Complex: scheduled maintenance on all systems and units completed. Functional tests confirmed that the equipment is fully operational – the complex is ready for the next launch campaign," the Center said in a statement.
At the Angara launch complex, specialists performed maintenance on more than 40 ground support systems and equipment, including assemblies for the launch vehicle and upper stage. Scheduled work was also carried out to replace fuels, lubricants, and consumables. Following the annual maintenance, personnel began performing high-frequency maintenance.
