In the Khmelnytskyi region, the main forces of the State Emergency Service have completed operations in the area adjacent to the training ground of one of the military units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where an explosion followed by a secondary detonation occurred on July 31.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook.

“The main forces of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have completed their tasks in the Khmelnytskyi region,” the statement reads.

Throughout the week, pyrotechnic units, together with specialists from the Unmanned Systems Forces, cleared the area of explosive ordnance. Using drones and robotic systems, they surveyed the terrain and bodies of water, identifying, removing, and transporting dangerous finds for subsequent destruction.

Specialists from mobile mine safety classes, together with community rescue officers, educated the public, teaching children and adults how to act if they discover explosive objects.
