After an 18-month, R1 billion transformation, the former Table Bay Hotel officially reopened as the InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town, the city's first InterContinental property.
Cape Town has a habit of making you fall in love with it all over again. Just when you think you've seen every postcard view, every glamorous rooftop and every luxury address worth knowing, the city quietly raises the bar.
On Wednesday, the V&A Waterfront welcomed more than the unveiling of a renovated hotel. It marked the beginning of a new era for one of South Africa's most recognisable hospitality landmarks.
