A teacher has been killed and multiple pupils injured in a school shooting in Thailand, authorities said.The shooting happened at the Debsirin Nonthaburi School in the Bang Kruai district of Nonthaburi province, located right next to Bangkok. It remained an active scene for several minutes as the suspected gunman remained on the school campus while police responded to the scene.The suspected gunman died by suicide, and those injured are one teacher and three students, Lt Col Dechrapee Kongdee, Nonthaburi ⁠Provincial Police Commander, told Reuters. As the shooting unfolded, police urged people to hide and wait for authorities. In an update on Facebook, police warned of reports that the shooter was in the school computer room."Who is still stuck there? Hide securely," the police wrote on their Facebook page. In February, a 17-year-old entered Patongprathankiriwat School in Hat Yai district, Songkhla province after stealing a firearm from a police officer. The student shot at the school director and a female student, briefly taking several teachers and students hostage. The school director died and the shooter was eventually detained by police.More follows
