Kgomotso “KG” Moeketsi has spoken out after her SAfm contract was terminated, describing the process as unfair and calling for accountability.
The SABC has confirmed the termination of veteran broadcaster Kgomotso “KG” Moeketsi’s contract, saying the decision followed an internal process, after she accused the broadcaster of an “unfair” dismissal from SAfm and called for accountability.
Moeketsi, who hosted SAfm's weekend jazz show Seasons, joined the station in April 2020.
Having previously worked at the now-defunct Radio BOP, Kaya FM and Gagasi FM, she said she is not asking for her job back.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, she said her contract was terminated on July 15, following an internal investigation led by the station's new programme manager, Ferdinand Mabalane.
