LAHORE: MCB Bank Ltd on Thursday reported a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs55.1 billion and a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs26.5bn, translating into earnings per share (EPS) of Rs22.34 for the half year ended on June 30.
On a consolidated basis, PBT and PAT stood at Rs58.8bn and Rs28.1bn, respectively.
The bank’s board of directors, in its meeting chaired by Mian Mohammad Mansha, reviewed and approved financial statements for the half year, reflecting resilient performance supported by strong fundamentals, disciplined execution, and balance sheet strength amid a challenging macroeconomic environment.
The board declared a second interim cash dividend of Rs9 per share (90 per cent), taking the cumulative cash dividend for 2026 to Rs18.00 per share (180pc).
