Talks between refinery group Motor Oil and construction group Aktor about the sale of waste management companies Helektor and Thalis to the latter have finished ahead of schedule with both parties agreeing on a €300 million total valuation for Manetial Limited, the 100% owner of the two companies.

Under the terms of the deal, Aktor will acquire a 75% stake in Manetial; the final price will be arrived at by subtracting net indebtedness and adding cash reserves at the time of the transaction, which is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2027.

The acquisition is part of Aktor’s strategy to diversify and boost its presence in the circular economy. The two companies achieved total EBITDA earnings of €40.8 million in 2025 and are expected to boost them over €41 million this year.
