Green Day have launched a 24/7 YouTube station featuring the band’s music videos, live performances, and “over 100 hours of footage you can’t find anywhere else.”
The group announced its new nonstop channel Green Day TV on Thursday with a Wayne’s World-esque promo, with the channel promising “a 24/7 nonstop stream of live footage, music videos, unearthed VHS tapes, deep cuts, and probably some stuff that should’ve stayed in the archives.”
In addition to emptying their video vaults for Green Day TV, the station will also feature new original programming like Transmission Unknown, highlighting up-and-coming new bands, interviews, comedy sketches, and “radical cartoons and short films,” all hosted by drummer Tre Cool.
