Mumbai: Tata Group's retailer Trent reported a 22% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹518 crore in the June quarter, helped by strong growth across its fashion brands Westside and Zudio, even as consumer demand remained uneven amid macroeconomic pressures.Revenue climbed 18% to ₹5,755 crore in the same period, with emerging categories including beauty and personal care, innerwear and footwear contributing 21% to the topline. Trent said its focus remains on private labels to strengthen Star's financial profile, with its own brands presently contributing upwards of 73% of the business' revenue."In our Star business, we will continue to apply Trent's playbook and invest in expanding our footprint, with a focus on building scale and strengthening our position across select markets," Tata added.

Strong growth from Westside and Zudio fashion brands fueled this significant financial performance. Revenue climbed eighteen percent to five thousand seven hundred fifty-five crore rupees during the same period. The company aggressively expanded its store network, adding nine new cities and over one thousand three hundred locations.
