Muse Code, now in beta, runs on Meta's new Muse Spark 1.2 model and is priced to undercut rivals like Claude Code and Codex

Meta $META released a terminal coding agent called Muse Code in beta on Wednesday, positioning the tool as a lower-cost alternative to similar products from Anthropic and OpenAI.
Muse Code runs on Muse Spark 1.2, a new coding-focused model that Meta trained alongside the agent. Installation requires just one command, and the tool supports macOS and Linux, the company said. Pricing comes in two forms: a standard pay-as-you-go plan and a discounted contributor tier, the latter of which requires developers to consent to having their data used to train the model.
