In Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, a sorting depot and a base for mobile branches of JSC “Ukrposhta” were destroyed. Two female employees of the company were killed.
The operator’s CEO, Ihor Smilianskyi, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Today is a difficult day for the ‘Ukrposhta’ family. In Pavlohrad, a Russian ‘parcel’ destroyed our sorting depot and the base for our mobile branches today. What hurts the most is that this strike claimed the lives of two employees: Olia and Olia,” the message reads.
A mechanic was also wounded during the shelling. According to Smiliansky, his life is not in danger.
This depot served Pavlohrad and all the surrounding villages in the district. “Ukrposhta” has already activated backup logistics plans and promises that pensions, medications, packages, and letters will be delivered on schedule.
