Didi's leading local services platform in Brazil 99, has announced a strategic alliance with Movida, one of Brazil's leading vehicle rental companies, to provide more affordable vehicle rental solutions, including electric vehicles, for drivers on the 99 platform.
The partnership is expected to benefit at least 50,000 drivers over the next three years, helping lower barriers for EV adoption in Brazil's ride-hailing industry and supporting the broader transition toward sustainable mobility.
Under the partnership, drivers connected to the 99 platform will have access to Movida's vehicle rental services with more competitive pricing and vehicle options tailored for ride-hailing operations.
Leveraging 99's experience in driver services and new energy vehicle operations, the company will help expand Movida's rental solutions among platform drivers and encourage more drivers to adopt EVs based on their operational needs.
