The initiative aimed to educate the student community about the grave dangers of substance abuse and steer them towards a healthy, value-based lifestyle.Warning students about the far-reaching adverse effects of drug abuse, Mr. Rajendra said that substance abuse is a social menace that destroys not only an individual’s personal growth but also shatters family peace and social harmony.“What begins as momentary curiosity or pressure from bad company can quickly spiral into addiction, completely altering the course of your life,” he cautioned.Highlighting the wealth of constructive possibilities available to the youth today, he added, “You have countless positive educational and career paths before you. Equip yourselves with legal awareness, self-discipline, and strong moral principles to play an active role in building a drug-free society.”Mulki Police Sub-Inspector Raghavendra Nayak expressed concern over the expanding drug networks targeting the youth.
