How does Peter make money? When Peter Parker was in high school and living with his aunt, the fact that he had a roof over his head and food on the table made sense. But high school is over, Aunt May is gone, and literally no one knows who he is. Nevertheless, Peter affords a pretty nice little apartment and all sorts of wild tech. Did Aunt May leave him money in her will? Does he get some kind of Avengers stipend? He surely isn’t working for The Daily Bugle, so what gives? What happened on Staten Island? Multiple times in Brand New Day, we learn that Peter saved Frank on Staten Island. It becomes a kind of point of contention between them. And yet, we never learn specifically what happened and with whom. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter as their relationship has a pretty healthy arc, but we’re still curious. When did that Aunt May scene take place? When Jean goes into Peter’s mind, she keeps coming up against this moment of Aunt May sitting with Peter on his bed. It feels more like a dream or a fantasy than anything else. A moment that encompasses May’s wisdom and meaning in Peter’s life. But the bag Tony Stark put Peter’s suit in is there too, and it has us wondering: is that an actual memory? And, if so, did it happen immediately after May saw Peter at the end of Homecoming?
