Real Madrid have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, with the player set to move to the Santiago Bernabéu this summer.

According to Marca, both clubs finalised the agreement on Thursday morning, with Diomande already travelling to Madrid to undergo his medical examination.

Real Madrid could officially announce the signing on Thursday, with the transfer set to become the most expensive in the club’s history.

The Spanish giants are expected to pay €125 million for the 19-year-old, with a further €10m to €15m potentially payable in add-ons.

The deal would take Real Madrid’s spending on new arrivals this summer to more than €300 million, with the club also reportedly spending €55 million on Marc Cucurella, €25 million on Carlos Espai and €20 million on Denzel Dumfries.
