3amCelebrity NewsStephen BearThe TV star has been sentenced to 16 months’ immediate imprisonment.15:15, 06 Aug 2026Updated 15:48, 06 Aug 2026Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear has been sentenced to 16 months’ immediate imprisonment for breaching a restraining order put in place to protect Georgia Harrison.Judge Christopher Morgan told Bear, 36, "what you did in that three to four month period is simply victim blaming" after he posted about Georgia on social media on multiple occasions last year, which was not allowed under the order.He said: "You left Miss Harrison, I'm afraid, at the mercy of any individual who had aligned themselves with your lies."The restraining order came with his 2023 conviction for filming a sex tape of former Love Island star Georgia - who waived her legal right to anonymity - without consent and posting it online for which he was sentenced to 21 months in prison.He served just over half of the sentence and was released from HMP Brixton in January.In a statement read to Chelmsford Crown Court today Georgia, 31, said Bear's online presence left her "feeling petrified" and she feared for her safety for the first time.Bear arrived at court this afternoon hand-in-hand with his pregnant wife Miami, waving and saying "wish me luck, guys" as he went into the court building. Bear and his Brazilian partner announced in March that they are expecting their first child.Speaking after the sentencing, Georgia said: "Essex Police took me seriously when so many women in my position are overlooked. They treated this as the serious crime it is - not a celebrity story. It is a real offence against a real person."They built the case properly, they stayed with it, and when the order was breached, they acted instead of shrugging. From the messages I get every day, I know how rare that still is.
