Newcastle’s talent exodus: are the Magpies becoming a feeder club?

Newcastle United’s ambitious project to reign supreme over the Premier League kingdom is collapsing like a poorly built sandcastle.The Magpies are losing world-class talent left, right, and centre, evidently moving farther away from realising CEO David Hopkinson’s target of putting Newcastle “in the debate about being the top club in the world” by 2030.

Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali has also completed a big-money move to Tottenham from Newcastle.
