If you’re looking for a low-cost SUV, the Renault Kiger certainly ticks the budget boxes, with its starting price of R219,999 making it one of the most affordable crossovers on the South African market.
However, the flagship Turbo Iconic derivative that we recently tested commands a far heftier R329,999. For that premium, you get considerably more power, as well as additional style and equipment. But is it worth the extra outlay?
The Renault Kiger was recently given a facelift, with a slimmer mesh grille and redesigned bumpers giving it a cleaner appearance up front, while also complementing Renault’s new corporate diamond logo.
The newly introduced Autumn Yellow exterior paint colour adds further visual appeal among the sea of white, grey and black SUVs that dominate our roads. It is one of six colours available on the updated Kiger, alongside blue, red, white, grey and silver.
