A hotel boss has appeared in court over the death of an X Factor star's fiancé after he fell 30ft from a window just weeks before their wedding.
Olly Marmon, 33, died from head injuries after plunging from the third floor of the Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, on August 12, 2024.
The stylist had been staying at the three-star hotel with Union J singer James 'Jaymi' Hensley when he fell out of a small open window.
Now, two years on from the tragedy, hotel owner Marcus de Lannoy Holden has appeared in court charged with a string of alleged health and safety breaches.
Holden, 57, of Shennington, Banbury, Oxfordshire, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court last month.
