Alice Kent says she’s left the back door open to her Christie Pits home during the summer months for nearly 20 years without incident. It’ll never happen again after a mangy coyote walked in and nested inside her Christie Pits bedroom Tuesday.
Kent said her cleaner discovered the pup relaxing on the bed around 11 a.m. in the house on Pendrith Street, just north of Christie Pits Park, and camped out in the room for about 90 minutes, defecating and bleeding from mange induced sores on the floor, before wildlife volunteers were able to safely take the coyote away.
