MK Party MP David Skosana will forfeit his salary and allowances during a 15-day parliamentary suspension imposed over ethics violations, including intimidating a journalist and failing to disclose a company directorship.

uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party MP David Skosana has been suspended for 15 parliamentary days and will lose his salary and allowances after he was found guilty of failing to disclose a company directorship and intimidating a journalist.

Parliament confirmed his suspension on Wednesday.

Skosana was suspended alongside National Coloured Congress (NCC) leader Fadiel Adams.

In a statement, Parliament said it had implemented sanctions against two members of the National Assembly after the House adopted reports by the Joint Committee on Ethics and Members' Interests, which found that they had contravened Parliament's Code of Ethical Conduct and Disclosure of Members' Interests.
