For the fast-bowling spearhead, hosting the flagship tournament alongside Zimbabwe and Namibia offers a rare chance to forge new national memories, especially because previous campaigns in heartbreak.
The the Proteas have found all sorts of ways to let them down in the past , Rabada insists the squad’s drive to lift the trophy on home turf is absolute.
"It's so exciting," Rabada said. "I've got such a huge passion for South Africa, representing South Africa, and to see how well it's supported, the fans, and this country, everything about it.
