DIGOS CITY, Davao del Sur — An unidentified man who was found dead in a rice field was finally claimed by his relatives after two months in the morgue of a funeral home here.
Rodulfo Bacus, 81, a resident of Barangay Tres de Mayo, was positively identified by his kin on Tuesday evening after the management of the Padilla-Labja Memorial Chapel sought the local media’s help for the airing or publication of a final notice for a pauper’s burial, which is being processed for lack of claimants.
A daughter of the deceased, who is a public school teacher here, took notice of the information and became uneasy.
