The federal government is giving the Taste of the Danforth street festival a last-minute funding boost just days before it returns for the first time since 2023.
Ottawa announced up to $100,00 in funding for the GreekTown on the Danforth BIA which runs the festival. The press release states the investment will support “continuing a tradition that began in 1994 as a celebration of Greek food and culture and has since become a symbol of Canada’s multiculturalism.”
