The Exemplar Luxury Group named Chloe King women’s fashion director for its Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue businesses, WWD has learned.

King, who previously served as director of fashion and lifestyle for Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, succeeds Roopal Patel in the high-profile role. King previously reported to Patel, who left the company in January.

King leads the women’s fashion office now for Saks and Neiman’s, and the new job will have her collaborating closely with Exemplar’s central merchandising team and brand partners, attending fashion shows, visiting showrooms and designers, and helping with brand events. Overall, she is charged with identifying and curating “a distinctive edit that elevates our unique fashion point of view for both Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue,” the company said. King also continues to serve as company spokesperson for fashion trend commentary.

King reports to Paolo Riva, Exemplar’s chief buying officer for Neiman’s and Saks. Bruce Pask, who continues as associate vice president of the men’s fashion office for Neiman’s and Saks, also reports to Riva. Linda Fargo continues as senior vice president, fashion office and store presentation for Bergdorf Goodman.
