During a meeting with Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže, President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed support for Ukraine’s European integration, the opening of four additional negotiation clusters with the EU, and the implementation of the PURL and SAFE programs.
The head of state announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Today marks Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže’s sixth visit to Ukraine. It is significant that the minister traveled to Kyiv from Odesa, where she had a full schedule of meetings. We are always grateful to those partners who are here in Ukraine, standing with our people—supporting us and enduring Russian attacks alongside us. Especially when Russia is rattling its ballistic missiles every day,” he noted.
During the meeting, Zelensky briefed the minister on the consequences of today’s attack.
The parties also discussed the continued implementation of the PURL and SAFE programs, food security and Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports, support for Ukraine’s European integration, and the opening of four additional negotiation clusters.
