Three members of the same family were killed and another was rushed to the hospital after a shooting rocked a secluded North Carolina neighborhood, police said. Shots rang out just before 8am on Wednesday at a home in Prospect Hill, a quaint community located in Caswell County that is about 45 miles outside of Greensboro. Cops found four adults suffering from gunshot wounds outside a home on Brooks Road. Three of them were pronounced dead at the scene, and the fourth was taken to Duke University Hospital, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) said. The names of the deceased victims are unknown, but the suspect shooter is among them. The status of the surviving person is unclear. Police said there is no threat to the small community at this time and that it is believed to be an 'isolated incident.' All three agencies have since gathered outside of the home as they continue to investigate the case, which has been described as a 'domestic case involving family members.' Caswell Sheriff Tony Durden said the NCSBI has been processing evidence at the scene and conducting interviews.
