Real Betis controlled the match from early on, with Deossa’s goal giving the Spanish side a commanding lead that Arsenal never looked like overturning. Deossa, who joined Betis from Mexican side Monterrey in August 2025 for a reported fee between €11 million and €14.5 million, has a contract running through 2030 and is quickly becoming a key figure in the squad’s midfield.
