The coming-of-age drama has finally landed on Prime Video19:52, 05 Aug 2026All eight episodes of twisty new drama Sterling Point have just arrived on Prime Video.‌The entire coming-of-age series released to the streaming platform today (August 5), bringing viewers the story of a 17-year-old girl named Annie Jacobson who finds herself the new owner of an island in Canada once owned by her grandad.‌As per Prime Video's synopsis: "Raised in New York City with her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) and loving adoptive father (Jay Duplass), Annie's life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather's island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romances and untold family secrets."‌Early critics' reviews have been nothing short of glowing, with the show already earning an impressive early 94 per cent score on review aggregate site, Rotten Tomatoes. She also appeared in 2024 horror film Night Swim, 2018 short film The Boogeywoman and 2025's Eddington.Keen Ruffalo‌His surname gives away his acting lineage, as Keen, who plays Connor in Sterling Point, is actually the son of seasoned actor Mark Ruffalo.Despite his strong roots in Hollywood, he has just a small number of acting credits so far. He played a minor part of a Sakaaran Citizen in 2017's Thor: Ragnarok and even acted alongside his dad as a child in 2013's Begin Again.Jeffrey Dean Morgan‌One of the most recognisable names in the cast is Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays the character of Joe. Viewers may known him best from his past role as Negan in horror series The Walking Dead and its later spin-off The Walking Dead: Dead City.His other credits include roles in the TV show Supernatural, 2009 sci-fi film Watchmen and 2007 romcom, P.S I Love You opposite Hilary Swank.Jay Duplass‌Another big name in the cast is actor and director Jay Duplass. He's set to star opposite Oscar-winner Jessica Chastain in 2026 horror Other Mommy, and has directed the upcoming biographical comedy-drama, See You When I See You.Bo Bragason‌One of Bo's biggest roles is yet to come as she has been cast as Princess Zelda in the live-action Legend of Zelda film expected to arrive next year. The English actress is also known for her role in the BBC's harrowing 2017 series Three Girls and 2024's The Jetty.Her other credits include roles in 2024 film The Radleys, Renegade Nell from that same year, and 2025's King & Conqueror.Missi Pyle‌Another very recognisable face in the cast is Missi Pyle.
