The deal on the pitch
Vinícius Júnior’s current deal runs through the summer of 2027. The forward is reportedly holding firm at €30 million per year. Madrid’s latest offer of €22 million represents a meaningful step up, but the gap remains substantial.
Negotiations between the two sides had been frozen for close to a year before talks resumed following the 2026 World Cup. A key meeting between the club and Vinícius Júnior’s representatives is scheduled for this week.
