A series of explosions tore through Dubai’s Jebel Ali industrial zone on August 5, with at least seven blasts reported over a span of roughly 20 minutes. Eyewitnesses described thick black smoke and a major fire near fuel storage facilities in the area, which serves as one of the Middle East’s most critical logistics corridors.
UAE authorities are calling it an industrial warehouse fire. Iranian and Iraqi media outlets are suggesting it was a Houthi missile or drone strike originating from Yemen. No casualties have been reported so far, and emergency responses are ongoing.
