Uber $UBER reported second-quarter results on Wednesday that met profit expectations, but its third-quarter guidance fell short of what analysts had anticipated.

Uber's third-quarter gross bookings guidance of $58.25 billion to $60.25 billion produced a midpoint of $59.25 billion, which fell short of the $59.33 billion consensus, according to CNBC. The company also projected non-GAAP EPS of $0.84 to $0.88 for the quarter. The midpoint of that range fell below the 89-cent average analyst estimate.
