In the Kyiv region, 36 people have been wounded as a result of a massive missile and drone attack on the night of August 5, and 16 people have been killed.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
“Unfortunately, the death toll from the Russian attack on the Kyiv region continues to increase. As of 12:00 p.m. on August 5, 16 people were killed, and another 36 were injured as a result of the massive missile and drone strike,” he wrote.
According to Tkachenko, the Brovary district was hit hardest, where the Russian military killed 10 people and injured 16 more. Nineteen facilities were damaged, including seven warehouse buildings, a production facility, three private homes, a greenhouse complex, and seven trucks.
In the Bucha district, five people were killed, and 16 others were injured. Forty facilities were damaged: Five warehouse buildings, one private residence, and 34 cars.
