Usually, fans have to wait until a film is released digitally before they can scrape every frame for Easter eggs. Thankfully, though, one of the designers behind Spider-Man: Brand New Day has already gotten the ball rolling, and the results are awesome.
Over on X, Will Dixon, credited as a graphics assistant on the film via IMDB, has been posting some awesome work he did on the film, most of which can’t be seen in theaters. Things like the brand of the Punisher’s chili, the stickers Hulk’s students have on their laptops, and even some things on Ned’s wall. Dixon is still posting, but here are a few of our favorites so far. First up, while J. Jonah Jameson isn’t in Brand New Day, Dixon was able to sneak a few references in on Ned’s board. I was disappointed when I found out that the Daily Bugle and J. Jonah Jameson weren’t going to be in Brand New Day, so I squeezed in some Daily Bugle articles onto Ned’s Spider-Man conspiracy wall pic.twitter.com/rERphlosyC — Will (@WilliamD1123) August 1, 2026 Dixon did the writing on the Tony Stark bag in Peter’s dream too. He said he didn’t have the original Homecoming prop, so he had to work very carefully to duplicate it.
Had to make multiple ones as well. So much work just for a small piece of set dressing pic.twitter.com/NrW11nVmul — Will (@WilliamD1123) August 1, 2026 Punisher’s chili is named after his co-creator, Gerry Conway. Punisher makes a good chili! I designed the chili can label that Frank holds. Sadly you never see the front of it, but I named the brand after Punisher co-creator Gerry Conway. Such a shame Gerry passed before he could see Brand New Day pic.twitter.com/rmInQGLiyF — Will (@WilliamD1123) August 1, 2026 Some of the stickers Hulk’s students have are designs based on classic Spidey villains. For Bruce Banner’s lecture, I had to create some stickers for some of the student’s laptops. Not sure if you can see any in the film, but I made stickers of some Spider-Man villains and a sticker of the Ultimate Spider-Man comic logo. Even if they’re not seen, I had fun pic.twitter.com/JT6QbWg5j9 — Will (@WilliamD1123) August 2, 2026 Oh, and a jar of pickles you never see close up was named after a Michael Giacchino cue from the previous film.
