Spider-Man is swinging from the big screen to the coffee table.

A new hardcover book exploring the making of Tom Holland’s latest Marvel adventure is now available to pre-order on Amazon ahead of its Aug. 18 release. The 208-page book, written by Jess Harrold, takes readers behind the scenes of the superhero sequel’s visual development, from early concept sketches to the final character, costume and production designs seen onscreen.

The book should also offer a closer look at Spider-Man’s redesigned suit, which marks a return to the hero’s more traditional comic-book appearance. The costume pairs brighter red-and-blue coloring with prominent raised webbing and a larger black spider emblem across the chest, moving away from the sleek, Stark-designed technology that defined many of Holland’s earlier suits.

The release arrives as “Brand New Day” continues its record-breaking theatrical run. The Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios film opened to $360 million in North America, surpassing “Avengers: Endgame” for the biggest domestic opening weekend of all time. Globally, it launched with approximately $932 million, the second-largest worldwide opening in history behind “Endgame.”
