A bright and sunny day gave way to dark skies and rain in several parts of Hyderabad on Wednesday (August 5, 2026), as clouds gathered during the afternoon following a largely clear start to the day.After 3 p.m., rain was reported from several areas, including Nacharam, Mallapur, ECIL and A.S. Rao Nagar, among other parts of the city.According to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), as of 4 p.m., Chintal recorded 9.8 mm rainfall followed by 9.3 mm in Allwyn Colony, 8.5 mm in Anandbagh, 7.8 mm in Malkajgiri, 7 mm in Nacharam, 6.8 mm in Ghatkesar, 6.5 mm in Tarnaka and 6.3 mm in Uppal.
