Lilian Nganga has dismissed online criticism over her decision to build a family with rapper Juliani instead of her former partner, politician Alfred Mutua, after a viral social media post questioned her choice.
The debate began after an X user shared a video of Juliani performing on stage alongside the couple's four-year-old son, Utheri, claiming the child might one day resent his mother for not being born into the family of "a billionaire and influential political figure."
The clip captures a light-hearted moment between father and son, with Juliani pausing his performance to interact playfully with Utheri.
Nganga responded directly to the post, defending both her son and her family.
"I am the mom. His name is Utheri. He is four years old. Please go ahead and get kids with the billionaire since I didn't. Feel free to keep us updated," she wrote.
