RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi on Wednesday on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting in support of Jerusalem and its holy sites, held in the Jordanian capital Amman.
The ministers reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, the Saudi ministry said in a statement.
They also discussed regional developments, particularly the developing situation in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and the efforts being made regarding them.
Farhan stressed, druing a press conference, that protecting the city of Jerusalem remains a fundamental pillar of any just and lasting peace.
He also said Israeli unilateral measures in the Palestinian territories are null and void.
