"As an oncologist, these are some healthy and yummy snacks I munch on".Dr. Vishwani shared the following snacks:1. Roasted edamame beansShe said “Fan of peri peri flavour, it satisfies all my cravings for street-style chatapata food”.2. Homemade masala roasted peanuts“My favourite, sometimes I add chopped cucumber, tomato, onion, and lemon to it and just 1 bowl is yummy”, she said in her post.3. Roasted seed mix“I sometimes grind them into a powder form and add it in milk or add some dates in it to make yummy laddus.”4. Roasted makhana “I add pudina and haldi to this so that it becomes more like uncle chips flavoured”.5. Roasted lemon chickpeas“Love the masala coating on it”. Chickpeas are rich in protein and fibre, making them a nutritious snack. When roasted with lemon, they gain a tangy taste while also boosting your vitamin C intake6. Overnight soaked rolled oats with unsweetened chocolate powder and dates“Usually, I have a lot of cravings for sweets, and this is the best healthy option I have instead of chocolates”.7. Popcorn“I can rarely indulge in popcorn, but it is still better than fried chips/ namkeen/ mathri”.“These are some of the snacks I reach for whenever I feel like munching. Most of them are homemade. The only exceptions are edamame and popcorn, which I enjoy occasionally. As an oncologist, I believe everyday snacking should be simple, minimally processed, and nutrient-dense. It’s not about snacking more - it’s about choosing better whenever you do.”, she wrote in her Instagram caption.
