After weeks of uncertainty, long-distance travel and an outpouring of public support, Stephen Black Lion Singhini and his beloved dog, Fireman, have finally arrived safely at their home in Karonga, Malawi.
The pair's final leg of the journey proved to be their most challenging. Travelling from Lilongwe to Karonga, Singhini and Fireman relied on lifts from two long-distance haulage trucks as they navigated severely damaged roads before reaching their destination.
